CHAPTER 5- REALITY BITES!

" I hope you could get used to this too.. Hahaha..." Heechul with the most honest expression that he could muster.

The others are now sitting down firmly on the couch except for Yesung. Seem like our Yesung got something else in his mind right now..

"Anyway.. Tell more about yourself.." Shindong said, sitting straight upon seeing all the members were interested in asking Reiko about herself..

"Well,nothing special about me. I am 20 years old. I'm a senior at Stanford Culinary Arts University in London." She started to tell them her background. The others listens carefully to her soothing voice..

"But..How did u end up replacing Sa Neul-Ahjumma? "Ryeowook said while looking at Heechul for an answer

"Now that u mention it,How did our manager get her to replace ahjumma?" Kyu said,without looking away from his game.

"Well, I was working as a part-timer as a assistant chef at Pearl Sapphire Hotel in Seoul. I always visit auntie whenever i got the chance."She said,giving a card to Leeteuk. He looked at the card and noticed that it was her working card..

"Oh.. now i remember.. Before we move to our first dorm, we stayed a hotel named Pearl Sapphire in Seoul." Heecul took the card from Leeteuk angelic fingers.

"Yeah.. The time where we met the snobbish and arrogant hotel heiress,right? What's her name..."Shindong said looking at the ceiling like the answer will just come out from it.

"Molly? Milly? "Ryeo was guessing too

"Mukubi? Merguhe?"Kyu was talking too,despite not knowing what they were talking bout..

"Hahaha! You are dead! Hahaha..."Kyu cheer for his prolonged victory playing starcraft.. The others were still lingers in their minds about it..

"It's Merlinda.." Yesung said suddenly.. The others starts staring at him..

"What? So i guess it right.." Yesung said still aching form his battl

"How did u know,hyung?"Ryeo was looking rather odd at Yesung.

"Well, the girl won't stop lingers all over Sungmin. Sungmin was begging me to accompany him but that girl just don't get it.."Yesung said with a very emotion;ess expression

"You said it.. I feel that i want to punch her in the face.. What do she think i am? A doll?" Sungmin was just walking in form his room.

Reiko remembered something.

"Are you talking about Melina Merlinda?"Reiko asked to them. They all nodded.

"Well, she is a patisserie chef at the hotel. She is good with cakes.." Reiko explained..

"But,yeah.. She is annoying. She always tell us what to do and stuff. Annoys me a lot.."She said with a very angry voice.

"Is that so? What did she do?"Ryeo asked with mush interest..

"Well,she keep telling us not to mix all the ingredient without her knowing..We must follow the original recipies and cannot change the recipes..yadayadayada.."She keeps on babling

"I mean,who cares? We got our own ways creating new recipies.. I know i do.. Hmmm..." She sighed..

"Well,kok jongmal. You can make cakes for us.." Sungmin said with a sweet smile.

"Oh,my! I got an idea! What about we sell pastries that she made to peoples? We sample it first and then if its good than we.."Shindong said with much interest..

"SELL!!!"Ryeo,Sungmin,Leeteuk n Heeecul yelled together with much Heangbok

"DIE!!"Kyu yelled all of a sudden. All eyes are on him

"What?'kYU ASKED

"You gotta start to get a new hobby,Kyu.."Yesung answered..

REIKO'S POV
DEAR DIARY,
I HAD A GREAT DAY TODAY. i  GOT A NEW JOB AS A MAID IN THE MOST WANTED HOUSE IN KOREA. WELL,THE THING THAT MAKES IT WANTED IS BECAUSE IT WAS A HOME TO HALF OF THE SUPER JUNIOR MEMEBERS WHO IS A VERY HEART WARMING PEOPLE.. LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO THEM..

HE IS KIND(WELL KIND HAVE A VERY BIG MEANING),GENTLE AND HE IS ALSO A COOL GUY. HE IS THE MOST SPORTING OF ALL. SOMETHING HAPPEN TODAY THAT MAKES ME FIND OUT THAT HE IS CUTE.. MAN,HE IS CUTE

RYEOWOOK-HYUNG
HE IS THE FIRST UN MUSCLE PERSON I EVER SAW IN KOREA. WELL,MORE LIKE UNMUSCLE GUY..  HE IS NOT BUFF LIKE OTHERS BUT HE IS KIND-HEARTED AND VERY CLOSE TO KYU-HYUN HYUNG

"Reiko! Are you going home?" I turned my back when i saw someone was calling me. It was Ririn,my colleague at Cafe Delacoure at Peral Sapphire Hotel.. I smiled when i saw her coming towards me

"No.. I'm on my job. Its my break..Why?" i asked the Thai girl who is in hotel worker's outfit. She took different courses than me. She took Hotel Management courses. Now she is the housekeeper/Room service maid in the hotel.

"Me too. I heard that Mr.Jeong is going to announce something speacial for us today at 5.00pm.."She told me while we were walking in the lobby

"Really? About what?" I asked her

"I don't know. What i know is,it has something to do with the annual Blue Summit that happens once a year in Korea where food critic,hotel critique from all over the world came on a tour to find the best hotel in the world.."Ririn slowly cathing her breath

This blue summit thing sounds exciting.. Oh! I wish i could took part

"Oh! It's already 5pm.. Let's go to the assembly room.."She drag me all the way to the asssembly room while my thoughts were all over the Summit.

The room was a very huge room where all the workers in the hotel came for a meeting. A formal meeting. The curtain that were lifted were drawn down to make the room darker than it was before. Man,goosebumps again.. What it is all about?

"Sit down everyone.." Our head Supervisor ordered.

We saw Merlinda was on the platform too. I heard some voices whispering on why the hell Merlinda in on the stage, She should be with us and all.

 I tend to ignore that,since the thing that matter now is the info the supervisors will say.

"Good evening all. As u all know,in a month time,our hotel will held a Blue Summit which is an occasion where we celebrate all types of critique from different countries to judge on how our hotel have done so far.."Suk-In started his speech. Everyone were in deep silence until the only voice heard was Suk-In's voice.

" Last year,Chef Mahsuhito and Chef Linguini have been representing the patisserie part of the exhibition. This year they want to recruit two new chef to help them on creating the best pastry to serve the VVIPs.."He goes on talking..

We all could see that Merlinda was standing proud on the stage witha smile that we never see before. Almost like a victory smile.

"This year they have selected two from our kitchen.. I shall call upon them now.." He unroll the paper infront of him. Everyone was waiting in anticipation..

"Miss Merlinda.."Suk-In havent finished his words yet but Merlinda was gleaming in victory..which is so..awkwrd and dorky..

"She expected that she will be in the summit."I said eventhough i can really quite guess that she persuaded her dad to put her in..

"The other one is Miss Lee Reiko Hana!" I was shocked! Like really shocked! Like the BEast song SHOCK,i was not moving form my seat as my eyes were fixed at the front until Ririn pound my shoulder

"Miss Lee?" Suk-In's voice were heard calling me..

"Hey, get out there! He is calling you!" I was startled but what makes it more worst is Miss Bits-A-Lot is putting on her I-Hate-You glance and her -Why-Are-U-In-My-Spotlight glance.. I quickly get up and went to the stage.

 A lot of my collegue were cheering for me..

"So..others can follow the names given according to their department. The names shall be your Facilitator throughout the Summit. Miss Lee and Miss Merlinda please follow me.." Suk-In ordered. I followed and i could heard Merlinda's gumpy voice babbling something that only she could hear.

" Well,please wait here. I will bring Chef Linguini and Chef Matsuhito down here. In the meantime,get to know each other cause u are going to work together for next month.."He smile and went into the elevator

"Get to know each other,he said..Huh!" Merlinda started to grumble. Hm.. Here we go.. Let the babbling starts

"Why did they pick a rookie worler like you anyway? You are a new workers who wanted your part.. I am pretty sure that they feel bad for not getting the role coz you already stole it!" She said while facing the window.

So what? It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. Beside,if i can get the certificate for this occasion, it will add up to my practical marks on my last exam in Stanford Culinary too..

And what was this Rookie thing she trying to pull on me? Like HELLO! She is also a rookie! She is the same as me only my dad does not own a hotel and i don't work at the place where my dad was the boss. Damn!

She is soo annoying!

"Are you deaf? Can't you see i amtalking to you???!" Okay,now she started to yell at me for not listening to her stupid whining. What the hell?

"Oh? Are you talking to me? I thought you were talking to the window because as far as i know when we are talking to a person,we must face them.." Get back at ya!

"Are you trying to teach me about manner? Who are you to teach me? I am a socilite,you are a drag! There is no way u can teach me.." Okay, now she started to insult about my background.. Nice..

"Well! I'm so sorry that i am a drag. At least my parent raise me to be a very courteous person so i won't turn out to be an ill-mannered person like you,Miss Merlinda."

Man! If this thing got too hot, i might end up in jail for beating her up.. Where the hell is Suk-in? The hell break loose but he still not here..

" What did you call me???? You... you.." She raise up her hand to slap me when..

"Linda!! Stop it!" I heard a familiar voice that i once hear before.. Somewhere.. I turned my head. After that i wish that i never turn my head..

"Brother? What the fuck are u doing here?"Merlinda raise down her hands.

ME? I could not stop blinking!

"Ye..ye..yesung-hyung??" The word just came out from my mouth..

"Is that what you learn about manners in America? Fuck? Damn? Assholes???" Yesung started to close in on us.

" What do you care,huh? You are so busy with you group.. What the fucking group again? Hah! Super Junior..whatever!" Eventhough Yesung was evil but she was so ill-mannered towards her brother.. Wait? Brother???

"Did she just call you brother? U never told me that u have siblings..?" I asked him without looking at him. My back was facing him..

"What? Do you know this drag?" Merlina is starting to set my fire up again

"Wait.. Who are u calling a drag?" I was so mad but all i can feel next is my face was plastered by her hard slap that was planted at my cheeks without my knowledge.

"Stop slapping people as much as you want!" He yelled at her

"I will slap whoever i want,punk!" She slapped me again..

"I said,stop!" Suddenlt i could feel hands on both of my shoulder and push me aside from Merlinda to his side.

Yesung's side. His right hand was on my other shoulder,protecting me. I froze at that moment..

"Who is she to her,huh???"She asked as she saw Yesung hold me tightly in his arms,which i was not aware of it..

Well,you guys wont be aware of it right when a handsome guy hugs you in his arms tightly to protect you,right?

"She is..." He stuttered but his eyes are fixed on his sister

"What? She is what???" Her face expression was so demanding of an answer. I could see that the people
from other floor and my other colleague saw our lttle war here..

How can't they? Merlinda got a voice that doesn't need a megaphone to enhance the volume..

"She is my fiancee.. Happy?!" He yelled all of a sudden.

That time,i could hear people whispering around us... I could not muster my feeling that time. I mean,he saved me but in return he said i am his fiancee..hahaha..

Wait..

Fiancee?!

"What???!" Merlinda yelled.

"What the-"I turn my face to face his face but his eyes were still fixed at Merlinda

OH MY! What in the world that trouble i am getting my self into????
